"Is the footage of ACC we've seen so far living up to your expectations? Excited for the new game?"
Yes, and yes! ACC will be the new benchmark in sim racing. Just a guess.

Shots without car on tarmac, cos they wanted to highlight the track. There was plenty of shots with cars on tarmac already.

Great looking pics. So far from Brands, Spa and Monza, probably when EA launches there won't be all tracks. (Assuming they work first on the tracks that are in AC already)

Which makes me wonder if some tracks get re-scanned or using old point cloud
I made this question on facebook page weeks ago "Felippe Kiss I have a question. All tracks will be scanned until then ok, what are the existing ones in the original AC will be re-scanned or only ported and adapted to the ACC?" THE ANSWER "Assetto Corsa Hi Felippe! Great question... All the tracks, (including the ones already made in the past) will be updated for the current season, so the previous ones are currently remastered or in some cases, created almost by scratch. Hope this helps

R3E (GTR2 engine) looks great although it's static skies are showing their age compared to Assetto Corsa ,Project Cars 2, etc. Not a deal breaker, simply an observation.
Indeed. I wasnt mentioning the graphics overall. Just that the grass can be a bit "clean". I saw the Brands Hatch version in Raceroom and it also has old tire tracks with yellow grass and a little dirt showing in some corners where cars sometimes cut or being pushed out. So over the years it shows. Many tracks in rF2 for example is almost always super clean. Green grass up to the tarmac and no variation and it looks so clean/sterile. Texture work like that is quite a bit of work but it really make it look organic and detailed. :)

I don't particularly car what the scenery looks like, it's not like I'm going to be seeing much of it when I'm at full throttle with my eyes fixed on my racing line. Never did understand the need for perfect replication of the surrounding area's of race circuits, or identically matched colours or sunsets, it's about the cars and the racing for me.

There is only a problem...never found a UE4 with that graphic running smooth without a uber-pc...
(But I will buy it the same and run on potato settings)

Can this myth go and die already? It's 100% inaccurate and blatantly misleading.

'The Vanishing of Ethan Carter' is a UE4 game and can be played fine on a 6 year old gtx 660. And that game looks better than anything else you have seen most likely.

Ability to lower graphics settings, and decent optimization is all it takes. UE4 is not inherently more difficult on your gpu than any other game engine.

Stop propagating this garbage.

Don't think they go for color palette of any game, Forza and ACC both are just inspired in their coloring by real photographs. I'm glad they went with more natural color palette, not a fan of AC color palette sometimes, it's not natural. The greens and blues don't seem quite right, now they do.

And it's obviously in-game, Kunos never posted any other.

As for the @Xela1 "No cars in the images, because they haven't figured the lighting".

Not buying this. We already saw plenty of images of cars at Monza in similar lighting conditions, which looked great. Once you nail that on one track, why wouldn't it work in others. The color palette of the environment is very similar in Monza and Brands. In daytime everything is illuminated by 1 light source (sunlight) so what's there to "work" on?

They simply wanted to highlight the track this time, believe me. It's good to be critical, but what you're saying gets into tinfoil territory.
