MX5 SPEC Miata skin template - Template MX5

Info taken from Plickbadger's original post on isi forum:

Here's the deal with coloring the other parts of the car
Materials are mapped as such
WCExtra0="Interior"
WCExtra1="Floor"
WCExtra2="Rims"
WCExtra3="Cage"

use SM_INT.psd to create the following files
SM##Interior.dds
SM##Rims.dds
SM##Cage.dds

use SM_Floor.psd to create
SM##Floor.dds

You can also use the WCWINDSHIELDIN.psd and WCWINDSHIELDOUT.psd to make custom windshields
SM##WCWINDSHIELDIN.dds
SM##WCWINDSHIELDOUT.dds

New here and installed rFactor 2 a week ago. One reason was the Sim offered me to drive my IRL Car in races, even if its a 2007 and differs slightly (the front differs with bigger headlights and no 'hatches' otherwise it quite similar).

Anyway I created my black car and personalized it. Had to learn the procedure fast by reading posts, YouTube clips and some mistakes in the progress. But this is the result. ONE thing that didn't work was to edit the in- and outside fron window from Templates mentioned below. In a posting here someone says:

'You can also use the WCWINDSHIELDIN.psd and WCWINDSHIELDOUT.psd to make custom windshields
SM##WCWINDSHIELDIN.dds
SM##WCWINDSHIELDOUT.dds'

Those dds included in the .mas didn't do anything. Heres the car and the original windows stays. The other parts (Cage and Rims) worked well though. I like my car. Now it's virtual as well ;) / Micke
