Monitor mounting with recessed vesa mount

Hi,

I am looking to mount my acer predator monitor onto my 8020 rig but it has a recessed vesa mount on the monitor itself. Has anyone got around this with their 8020 rig?

I used TV bracket mounts for my Acer Predator monitors.

SimLab's Vario should work, but I'm not 100% sure about Advanced Sim Racing's Advanced Vesa Mounts, because the latter's design may not fit within the monitor's big lip...

To clear the lip of the recessed monitor you could use standoffs…

My monitors came with stand offs. Hopefully yours came with them too in the mounting kit hardware. If not, I’m sure you can find some on amazon.

My triples are all recessed too. The sim lab vario plates slot in nicely so you should be all set.
