Happy birthday to my favourite racing driver of all-time: Mika Pauli Hakkinen of Vantaa, Finland. He turns 43 today. This is special not just because he is my favourite, but because on the 30th of September 2001, he clinched his last Grand Prix victory in my home country and gave me something to be happy about despite the lives lost on 9/11.
He is the driver Schumacher feared the most, nearly dominated '98, fought tooth and nail after reliability issues to come from behind to win back-to-back titles in '99, pulled the greatest overtake in the history of F1, and gave us great competition for us F1 fans.
