This Tuesday we will take a seat in the legendary McLaren F1 GTR!
We will stretch its legs at Le Mans, no chicane that would stop us!

Wait? What is this?
For this event you need absolutely nothing special. A copy of Assetto Corsa, keyboard, console controller, or steering wheel it's all fine. Today we are going to focus on getting you on the online track (for the first time) and giving you a great experience and making you a better driver.

Make sure to be on time for the extended practice session and have teamspeak installed and be with us for the full length of the event. This is the longest session of almost an hour to get familiar with the car and the track. That's right, you don't need to practice offline first. You can come by fully unprepared

After practice we move to qualification to decide the racing order and do a short fun race of only 30 minutes so everybody can return to their wives, girlfriends, mom in time.

A message to all Drivers
If you run off track, you have to check and see that its clear before you re-enter the track. Do not just keep the gas pinned and pull back on track.
When entering the track from the pits stay off the racing line until you are up to speed and do not race on your out lap. Let other drivers by in qualifying.
On re-entering the track stay off the racing line until you are up to race speed and do not block any fast approaching car. Remember, you've made the mistake by going off so let them by cleanly.

Golden Rule

Be 100% sure it's not your fault and just carry on like nothing happened and take the risk of being banned for 30 days.
Play on the safe side and wait for the affected drivers, knowing 100% sure you will not get a ban.

Track limits

No more than 2 wheels over the white/yellow line without a complete lift of the gas please if it is safe to do so.
You will be penalized if you break our rules

OMG, first time I race on that track...people like it ?
I mean, the first and last sectors are awesome, but huugghhh straight lines are boooring and, worst, it's killing tyre pressure and temp. Tough.

Tested it with the chicane but then you need to brake when the car is getting to feel fast. Also overtaking there is really difficult in my experience as everything is quite unstable etc.
Gonna be more fun when you go 4 wide for the whole straight

Haha, think youself lucky Slim, I haven't managed ONE lap without penalty so far

This beast is a big step up from the regular BMW 235i, I'll be begging for its return again after this event

@RasmusP you won't be going 4 wide with with me and my g920 wheel wobble!

I have to say I was wrong about the track. The learning curve is unusual, so after some laps I took a real pleasure to drive trying to be smooth and clean instead of trying to be fast. I am wondering how endurance driver drives and if Le Mans fits more to endurance driving than other tracks.
