A message to all Drivers

If you run off track, you have to check and see that its clear before you re-enter the track. Do not just keep the gas pinned and pull back on track.
When entering the track from the pits stay off the racing line until you are up to speed and do not race on your out lap. Let other drivers by in qualifying.
On re-entering the track stay off the racing line until you are up to race speed and do not block any fast approaching car. Remember, you've made the mistake by going off so let them by cleanly.

Golden Rule
  1. Be 100% sure it's not your fault and just carry on like nothing happened and take the risk of being banned for 30 days.
  2. Play on the safe side and wait for the affected drivers, knowing 100% sure you will not get a ban.
Track limits
  1. No more than 2 wheels over the white/yellow line without a complete lift of the gas please if it is safe to do so.
You will be penalized if you break our rules
Note: Please use your full real name in teamspeak. Not doing so may result in you being kicked from the server if an admin cannot identify you as a premium member.

*IMPORTANT* - Be sure to choose the 180HP engine tuning option in the Tuning menu. The car and track combo is suited to this engine tuning option. The Cosworth engine is faster, but it would detract from the atmosphere of historic racing that we hope to achieve.

Anybody suspected of using the Cosworth engine tuning option, may be kicked from the server.

Edit: An update to the car (Jan 17th) has enabled me to configure the server in such a way that the Cosworth FVA engine option is not available on the server. :D

Hi Denis - I'm interested in re-joining you guys for this race next Thursday. However, I'm having a wheel issue with rF2 (See my thread here.) As soon as I enter the cockpit in the pits, my wheel oscilates left/right pretty severely. On track, I feel the oscillation in the straights, but not thru the curves.

My wheel is a Thrustmaster PC Racer. Was wondering whether anyone else here has this problem with rF2?
If I get this solved, I'll join you. If not, probably not.

Thanks,
Bert

Aw, where d'you go? I was just about to ask if you could jump on TS?

Try a different in game wheel profile buddy.

Hi Joe.
It's great to hear from you. Look forward to seeing you on Thursday buddy. :)

Please remember, the Cosworth engine is not allowed for this event. The 180HP engine is the maximum allowed (so everybody should choose 180 hp). See you on the grid. :)

Doh! Yeah it was the wrong wheel profile. Still had the one from the old Logi G29 loaded!

Everything good, now. So please count me in. Looks like a fun car/track combo!

Bert
Has there been an update for this car Denis? When I first drove it, I did not like it ..but now it is superb ...In for sure
Go on then, let’s give it a blast!
One spot for me Denis.
He he, things are hotting up. This is gonna be epic. :)
