Looking for tutorials for creating sounds.

Hello.
I'd like to know if there are any tutorials to create outside sounds for a certain car. I know that FelipeGiro made tutorials to create inside (cockpit) sounds for rFactor, but I can't say the same thing for the outside ones. I've tried to do the same thing with Nero wave editor and Audacity with the "Pitch bend" and "normalize" functions in order to make the sound more homogeneous, but once I do this, the volume level of the sounds fluctuates continuously, and I don't know how to fix it. Here's an example of the problem I want to fix (go to "external scenes").
Thanks in advance.

use google link on second page for download. Also look for data on editing the sfx file, you should find some decent threads; I know of no tutorial as such.

Got and use that tool. That's not exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks anyway.
