In 2022, if looking for tracks for rFactor 1, you often find no search results or dead links. Sometimes the TrippTeam server is available at trippteam [dot] servegame [dot] com : 200. You can find many mods otherwise lost to the sands of time there.
But I recently found a great site with listings of mods for Formula 1 circuits all the way from the 80s (if not earlier) up to nowadays for rFactor, and has MANY MANY working links to download these tracks for yourself. There are many Japanese characters on the site, but if you're not a Japanese speaker (like me), do not be afraid – there are also English names for tracks and mod links on the site.
NOTE: I've found the MediaFire links by far the most reliable on the site
