The RaceDepartment Grand Prix Championship continues tonight at the British circuit of Silverstone for 62 laps of racing!

With the weeks preparation now over, all of our drivers will be heading to the grid tonight in order to run in the longest event on the calendar. With half the season behind us, drivers will now be looking towards the Championship standings overall, instead of just single race results.

Currently leading the Championship, Charles Baccio will go into Silverstone without the support of his Team Mate who is absent from this round. However, he will have extra backing from partners, Racers in Pyjamas and RaceDepartment Motorsport. RD Sport have signed an additional driver for the second half of the season, with Matt Wright taking to the track.

MK Simsports Dan Long will be looking to beat Baccio here, as he currently stands tied in the lead, and will have the support of his teammate Matt Beavis. Beavis is yet to get in a good result, after retiring in round one following an incident in the closing stages, running out of fuel at round two with only a few laps to go, and being involved in the unfortunate first incident at round three, means that Beavis is having a hard time with this season. Long will continued to be back by Christopher Beavis of SSKM, however, Tom Watts of the same team will be trying to get involved in the Championship fight himself.

Another focus will be on the battle for fifth in the Championship. Campbell Wallis, Ryan Seltzer, Matt Le Gallez, Jayme Brooks, Steve Le Gallez, Allie Ferrie, Joseph Wright and Aintor Sintes are all separated by just 12 points. Positions here will be changing continuously throughout the remainder of the season. And with the top ten drivers being given a confirmed spot in the next season of RDGPC, all of these drivers will be trying their hardest to stay above this marker. But with Joseph Wright confirmed as not running at Indianapolis to make way for Jonas Hillert, he will have a harder time remaining in a top ten come season end, missing out of the double points race.

Looking at Silverstone then, and the drivers to watch out for, we have a few names expected to make a show once more. Charles Baccio, Tom Watts and Dan Long are obvious contenders for the race win, but further down the field we have some lesser known names that you should watch out for. Mike Davies and Christian Moreau of Racers In Pyjamas made a dominant run at Lautzring in their first race of the season with Moreau taking pole and the victory for the team in their inaugural race weekend. Davis had an unfortunate incident with his Team Mate stopping the team from achieving a double podium. Joseph Wright and Matt Beavis, two drivers caught out by unlucky errors in the opening rounds have meant they drop down the order, however, this half of the season, their luck may change. We have a few new names running around the track at Silverstone, so keep an eye out for their impact in the race. Will it be as big as RiP's first running?

You can watch the race on our YouTube and Twitch pages, where you can get involved in the conversation. Be sure to join us live from 18:30GMT for Qualifying and then the Race!
