The 2017 TCR International Series visits the legendary Spa Francorchamps for the third round of the season, streamed live on Friday and Saturday 5th and 6th May here at RaceDepartment.

The legendary Spa Francorchamps circuit plays host to races five and six of the 2017 TCR International touring car championship on Friday and Saturday of this week. With a packed grid of cars taking to the circuit in support of the World Endurance Championship race, this event should prove to be one of the closest races of the season so far. With debuting drivers the likes of WTCC regulars Rob Huff and Tom Coronel taking plum drives in the WRT VW and Boutsen Ginion Racing Civic respectively adding to the excitement of one of the worlds best touring car series, Spa really should be an incredible test of man and machine.

As is the want of the series regulators several new drivers will be in attendance for this event, swelling the grid to a season high of 24 cars due to take to the daunting 7KM race track.

Pre season favourite Jean-Karl Vernay will be looking to protect his slender one point advantage over the impressive WTCC refugee Dušan Borković in the revitalised Alfa, with canny touring car veteran Roberto Colciago just a further point adrift as the experienced Italian looks to continue his early season haul of points and take advantage of the comparatively lacklustre start to the year for former race winners and title rivals James Nash and Pepe Oriola, languishing in eighth and fourth respectively in the drivers table.

Reigning double champion Stefano Comini continues to make inroads in the all new Audi RS 3, a car that should be well suited to the quick Spa circuit as the talented Swiss driver looks to kick start his title defence with style in front of the WEC teams and drivers looking on from the main race paddock.

With a combination of exceptionally talented drivers, closely matched touring cars and an incredible Grand Prix circuit, Spa is sure to be a race you simply can't miss....

Awesome. Using the internet in this way would be so massively forbidden, I wouldn't dare to not ask:geek: Lol
Enjoy the races, I need to decide whether or not I watch it today, need to watch Bahrain first:cautious:

I really have no idea who are the drivers, what cars are racing or what are the rules. But I am gonna learn those things.
Watching this is so much fun! Better than every F1 race I saw :D
Also it reminds me a lot of our Rookie Races!
