Hi,

Got a 2080 ti and and coming from a 1080 ti ...
Did someone got less fps from a 2080 ti than a 1080 ti whit Assetto Corsa?
Playing whit Oculus rift
Got a 8700k whit 16gb of ram..

All other games have a fps gain..
In AC i got solid fps drop... Like 43-45 fps whit SS at 1.4... whit GBW. Using Content manager!

- No overclocking
- deleted driver whit ddu
- did try different track and different cars

Any help is welcome!

After help from Xfab and many readings...

I finally figured out what was the problem!
My CPU was bottleneck by my new monster !

So i made a little visit in the BIOS:

I turn off speed step
I turn off hyperthreading
Overclocked my ram and CPU (about 35%)

And now I got a solid performance in AC :

All graphics options max out!
Whit oculus at 2 X SS in content manager

Plus All options in the graphic part of shaders patch at on. (Give a bonus of 5-10 fps).

Guys the clarity and quality comparing to 1080 ti is really amazing!

I'm now really satisfied of my new Holliday's gift:cool:

Nice to hear it's running for you again! :)
I don't get why a graphics card swap should've changed the cpu performance though. I mean you got lower fps, not just "the same as before".
Really strange!

When clarity and quality change it can't be just mere GPU swap but also some other settings that probably drove CPU load higher.
Or your lost your existing ovetclock/xmp when booted into BIOS after card change.
