Here is my complete texture update for Le Mans 1967, rj_lemans_1967


All credits to everyone behind this track, it's a masterpiece!!!


As with Monaco 1966 and 2024 version Iv'e reworked the track in a very similiar way, this one a bit more subtle while keeping the oringal look.

On the other hand, I wanted to know if I was the only one to have a staggered starting line during the Le Mans start mode?

My work is only a texture update and shouldn't effect start mode

Hi, would love to try your skin but having issues installing it. I followed the instructions in the readme file and d/led the 67 track off GTplanet. Installed without a hitch, even tested it.
However when trying to install your skin (the .zip file) something goes wrong and I'm stuck. CM says this after I select your file: Nothing to install found. Try installing manually?
Not sure how to proceed. I tried unzipping the file but can't install it that way. Am I supposed to install it "manually"? If so could someone plz let me know how to go about doing this? Thx.

K, after doing that I get your skin pack in the drop down menu. However I cannot tell the difference. I even took screen shots of the before and after and they look identical. Maybe something else is amiss. Or perhaps the diff is so settled that it can't be noticed?
Nice effort but I've spent too much time trying to get this to work. AC is nice but the amount of time required to do even the simplest of tasks (like trying to figure out a mod must be installed manually when there was no mention of it in the instructions) is more than I can justify timewise.

Have you made sure that skins are selected in CM as per installation instructions

Installation:

- Install rj_lemans_1967 track, download link in my update
- Install my update and select my skin update in content manager (CF1_Le_Mans_1967)

Hi Guys

A few of you have sent me messages about this track about not noticing the updates.

Appreciate all the feedback and hopefully I was able to help everyone.

I thought I would create another upload and aslo had the chance to add some more updates whilst tweaking others.

N.B. It is important that you only have my skin update activated in CM and others deactivated.

- All tree textures tweaked, still upscaled
- Tarmac textures reworked a bit

Hi, great update! I am having an issue with trees, as they have thin bits of textures floating above them. I'm not sure if this is due to CSP settings or how the original trees were implemented.

My apologies for the delayed response, work has kept me very busy.

I have the same problem, not as much as you which hasn't bothered me.

I'm not sure if this is a mapping problem or not but do know that I solved the problem with another track by slightly reducing the hight of the tree's which you will not even notice.

Will have a look over the weekend again when free again.

Thanks a lot for checking this out. I am kind of relieved that you can confirm the issue is also on your end - I thought I might have messed up my CSP settings. It's certainly not a big deal, but it might be exacerbated in my case since I am not using TAA/FXAA, which can probably mask it a bit.

Color correcting and lighting balance for the trees.
Mostly eliminated the floating lines over a number of the trees.

Alpha layer corrections. It's good enough and better than it was.
