Assetto Corsa Racing Club event
Riverside.png

This week we travel to Southern California to race on the classic circuit of Riverside International, but sadly the circuit was closed in 1989. We are going to race the Lancia Fulvia S1 here (Superb mod) With the long straight, fast twisty section and banked area, should provide us all with some great racing...Sign up below.

A message to all Drivers
If you run off track, you have to check and see that its clear before you re-enter the track. Do not just keep the gas pinned and pull back on track.
When entering the track from the pits stay off the racing line until you are up to speed and do not race on your out lap. Let other drivers by in qualifying.
On re-entering the track stay off the racing line until you are up to race speed and do not block any fast approaching car. Remember, you've made the mistake by going off so let them by cleanly.
Golden Rule
  1. Be 100% sure it's not your fault and just carry on like nothing happened and take the risk of being banned for 30 days.
  2. Play on the safe side and wait for the affected drivers, knowing 100% sure you will not get a ban.
Track limits
  1. No more than 2 wheels over the white/yellow line without a complete lift of the gas please if it is safe to do so.
You will be penalized if you break our rules
Note: Please use your full real name in teamspeak. Not doing so may result in you being kicked from the server if an admin cannot identify you as a premium member.

#Gents ..When you download the mod (car) there will be two versions in the download :

  • lancia_fulvia_16_hf
    lancia_fulvia_s1
We will be using the s1 version, for this event

Times like these make me wish we had a BWM to add to the fray. How about adding the Alfa to the mix? The 2.7 Porsche Carrera RS would work with a little ballast.

Add me to the list!

They may or may not work, but certainly would require a lot of testing time and there lies the problem. Bop testing has been done before of course, but you need time and three or four drivers to get near correct settings. You are added my friend

The description of the Lanchia on RD says "the Car has been done following all Assetto Corsa feature´s, including dirt and damage texture´s and parts, custom collider, highly polished and realistic physics and it also been tweaked and tested intensely to match Alfa Romeo GTA laptime´s."

If you change your mind I volunteer to help with the BoP testing at Riverside. I know the track already.

Looks like you are right, just need to do a couple of laps with each car to ensure ..I will then gladly add the car

Actually it is the HF version which supposed to be comparable to the Alfa ..we are using the S1 version which is somewhat quicker ...:)

In that instance, maybe we should consider adding the 911. This is looking more and more like a mid '70's IMSA baby grand grid all the time!!!:):):)

Just kind of thinking ... what are other AC cars from back then that would fit? Ford Capri? Early small block mustang? BMW? BMW???

... and Yes ... I will help with any and all testing you need.
