I’m a big sim racing fan, but now and then I drive trucks in Euro Truck Simulator 2 for relaxation. I wanted to have ‘joystick stalks’ to operate the turn signals, windscreen wipers, parking brake and headlights. I found these HKL-FW24 4NO 4 position momentary type monolever joysticks on Aliexpress:
And combined it with a ‘no delay USB joystick controller’:
Now I had to think about how to mount these joysticks to my VRS DirectForce Pro wheelbase. After a lot of measuring and designing I came up with this joystick holder which does the job very well:
The joysticks are angled 20 degrees inward for better ergonomics. If you want, you can adjust the 3D design or drill some holes in the joystick plane to add a few extra buttons.
Another use case for these joysticks: adjusting left and right mirrors in Assetto Corsa - very handy.
