This is only a suspicion, anecdotal based on observations.
Every now and again I have an online race, and occasionally if it's a good race I'll put it up on Youtube. When I do that, I tend to add the video to the RD video feed.
While the video is promoted on the home page, generally it'll mean the video gets a few views. Just a few - mine is not a 'big' channel - maybe between 70-100 let's say.
But then, after a couple of days, the number of views reported by Youtube will drop dramatically, down to say 25.
I have another YT channel that is not racing car related so I don't post the videos here. But with that one, the video views never drop.
So I wonder if, for some reason, YT is deeming views from RD to be non-valuable, as they tend to put it?
