Intro movies before race!

I have set the "play movies" switch to OFF in the settings,but the movie that plays shots of the track still kicks in!
I can stop this by pressing space,but surely with this option turned off it should not even start.
This is no game killer,but I would sooner just go to the race rather than watch the shots of the track.Have I missed something or can they not be disabled? Thanks

"play movies" is for the movies on the tvscreens on the tracks. This option is to save random access memory.

So you cant stop the "cut scene around the track" film before a race except by hitting space.....is that correct?

but if you don't play online you can delete all .cin files in every REIZA original Trackfolder. But they will come back with a verifiying check.
