Increasing fuel and tire wear multiplier to beyond 7x

Hi! I am new to rFactor and have been trying to force the AI to have more pit stops per race. The setting for fuel and tire wear maxes out at 7 in the in-game settings, so I found the corresponding option in the user's .plr file. However, when I increase the value past 7 and start the game, it is immediately overwritten back to 7. I have even tried changing the file to read-only and modifying security permissions, but the values are still overwritten. Does anyone know a way to increase these values past 7?

Hmmm, are you trying to do this as a "global" setting, like for all the mods (cars) you have or just for one particular mod (series)?

Preferably as a global setting, but per series would also work!

Just thinking, maybe can go into the .hdv files of the cars and give them a smaller gas tank? I dunno,,,maybe someone with more knowladge will chime in. Everything is possible with rFactor..just have to figure out how..

i start dedicated exe and set the server settings as i like to simulate the race sessions that i do with the multiplayer ini and the plr file then i join my own dedicated server and add my cars when do that i must set password Admin Password in the multiplayer ini it takes some times to do the settings .. this have i test in a standalone rfactor install not on my steam but the edit is the same to make things
