Tracks I want to make a racetrack, what do I need?

Here in my town is one racetrack which I would like to transfer in to Asseto Corsa. I know to work in Photoshop and 3D Studio Max.
Questions:
1. What software I need (free ones will be appreciated but,,,)?
2. What is the stuff on which I really have to pay attention in process of making racetrack?
3. Is it there any software which can help me to speed up project?
4. Any video you know that can help me with the project?

1)
Any 3D modelling programme. 3DS Max will work fine.
You will also need the ksEditor; which is free and is part of the AC SDK.

Do and learn, then redo everything

There are programmes like RTB or BTB. I'd highly recommend to not use them.

4)
There is tons of information scattered around the forums. Both here and on the official AC forums. "Build your first track" is a good place to start. And "Proper technique in track making".
Then there are some video tutorials on working with LIDAR data: here.
