Try to grab the v2 or if it is v1 make sure it has the v2 cable as it is a hassle now to get them to replace it under any warranty

Certified reseller on eBay and you can order the updated cable directly from them (HP) if it isn't included.
I went that route with these guys and haven't had a single issue.
You'll save around $150 and essentially have a G1 updated to G2
