How to mount the Fred shifter?

I have been looking at the Fred h shifter as I want a better one than the th8a shifter I currently have. The Frex has been the one I have looked at the most as it look good and seem to have good reviews but it doesn’t have any proper up to date reviews that I have seen. My main issue tho is that the mounting doesn’t seem to be very simple. I have a rsr-21 rig with the shifter mount but am not sure how I would mount it. Does anybody know if there is a simple way to mount it?

I used horizontal 8020 at the front and rear of the shifter for mounting my Frex (Fred!) shifter. It's definitely a custom mount job. It doesn't sit nicely on a shifter plate. I can take some closer up photos of you're still looking for ideas.

With 7min of research I found that the RSR21 has a shifter mount platform:

and the frex shifter can be clamped to it:

I was think for more a hard mount as any clamp I've used wasnt that good

I got my Frex without this rubber under the clamp and it sits super tight since 2020 without the need to retighten it once. I could remove the two screws and additionally fix it with t-nuts to the profile, but can't get better than rock solid. I still love the shifter btw...
