F1 2010 how do u make custom helmets?

i have downloaded DXTBmp as i hear you can use it to edit helmets, but i have totaly no idea how or what to do. please can someone help me get started on making a new helmet skin? im from ireland and would like to make a celtic/irish lid for my carear
