It's Nordschleife week, in the rFactor 2 racing club, here at RaceDeparment, and boy do we have a real treat in store for you! For the second event we turn things down a notch, but do not think for a second that the challenge, fun and intensity will be dissipated - very much the opposite in fact! Round 2 will see a clash between the touring cars - the famous BTCC Honda Civic NGTC shall go head to head against the Mercedes SLS AMG GT3. Whilst they may not be as quick as the LMP and Group C power houses, these comparatively nimble cars are incredibly fast in their own right, and are expected to produce a fierce and compelling race as they battle it out against one another to determine who shall be King of the Ring!
The week will finally culminate in the Hot-Lap Challenge (a first for RD), commencing on Sunday 6th July for one week, where you will have the opportunity to post your fastest laps around The Green Hell in the car/s of your choice! So belt up and prepare yourself for the ride of a lifetime!
