High-res mirrors for the race 07 series

Hi,

I've been looking for a mod that enables high-res mirrors for the race 07 series (as there are for GTR2 and Rf). I tried replacing the mirrors.bmp file with the modded ones for gtr2 and even resizing it myself, but it always results in black mirrors display.

Has anyone been successful in modding the mirrors? My rig can more than handle the extra processing needed, so please help if you can. I use real mirrors not the virtual one.

mirror.bmp is a locked file that can't be over-written.

Thanks. I'll stop looking for it then. I just thought since there is such a patch for bot RF and GTR2, Race 07 must have one too. It's a shame the developers didn't include in the graphic options the possibility to set mirror quality, or at least to have both real and virtual mirrors enabled.
I mean, I'd use the virtual mirror but since it disables the real mirrors on cars, it's a bad choice for me.
