I have the new HE handbrake. Shiny and new. I found that on this unit, likely the same with the first version, you can actually remove the "inhibitor" screw that dictates how far "up" you can actually pull the handbrake. With that installed you are quite limited on how "far" you can actually pull the handbrake. It is a huge pain to remove as it is not mean to be taken out but it makes such a big different in feel.

I suppose mate, I have been converting my P1X for full flight in addition to racing and the handbrake is just sort of...in the way :\
