Hi everyone,
I'm working on creating a custom model in ChassisSim for a Mazda MX-5, starting from a base model (specifically, a Lotus Elise) and adjusting parameters to match the MX-5 as closely as possible. My goal is to create a reliable baseline setup for different races, so I can quickly make adjustments on race day.
I've been pulling data directly from Assetto Corsa, and I found the .ini files with car data. While I can read these files, I’m having trouble understanding how to interpret the data and input it correctly into ChassisSim. Specifically, I need help with:
If anyone has experience with building models from Assetto Corsa data, I’d love to hear any best practices, tips, or resources you can recommend. Thanks in advance for any help!

- Suspension data from suspensions.ini (wheel rate, camber, toe, etc.): How do I accurately transfer these values into ChassisSim?
- Differential settings from differential.ini (power and coast ramp): Any tips on aligning these values with ChassisSim's settings?
- Aerodynamic and weight data from aero.ini and car.ini (downforce, drag, centre of gravity and inertia): How should I handle these parameters for accurate vehicle behaviour?
