What an awesome little cross car this is!
Since Formula Agile (and therefore F1) is still not racing this week, let's hop into this cute Camotos Kawasaki ER-6 and prepare to drive on a track that will only be revealed as soon as official practice starts on Thursday!

This is a semi-serious event which will leave you sweating like you had a full one-hour workout! It's a loooong tarmac circuit with more turns and corners than you can count! Try to not get dizzy while driving on this gem of a track in this tiny little cross car!
If you really want to practice before the event, try this car on Trento-Bondone or Vallelunga Club circuit to get a feel for this little thing.

Please sign me up. Steam registration error?
Okay, I did sign you up manually. Weird that the Steam registration didn't work. Guess I did something wrong... In any case, you're in!

EDIT: you should be able to choose a different skin if you like

By the way, you can disable the cage on your car in the setup options. It's weird in VR to look through this cage, so I usually turn it off.

How do I choose a different skin?
On the page where you change your registration:

Click on "Register with steam"
Then login with Steam and you should see a page where you can change the livery

If it doesn't work for you, just tell me which livery you like, and I'll do it for you.

I'm a bit lost in terms of server passwords for different events here. Would like to jump on the practice server for some testing fun...
I did just ensure that the server doesn't need a password, so just join without any password. I'm still getting used to our server interface stuff, I'm sorry.

Hy Markus,

could you please either confirm or deny that the track will have a tarmac surface?

If so I´d be able to share a setup which makes it a little better to drive and a lot less "boaty"

And i shure hope that your track has a lot of runoff to avoid the bottlenecking that crashing into walls on tight circuits always causes:

Nice pic! Yes, it's on tarmac as mentioned in the initial post.
It's a loooong tarmac circuit
Since our car is quite small, agile and slow, we won't need F1-like runoff areas. But there's almost always enough room anyways.

Looking forward to your setup Carsten!

Damn, could someone lend me his glasses:rolleyes:

For the setup, its a lot less floaty, but the the Camotos take your steering input under advisement, the direction will come from throttle control.

Be careull to time your downshifts, the car reacts lustfully to "downshitting", eg shiftlock!!
Adjust final drive, brake bias and tyre pressures as needed:

I like this car, it is reasonably! very manageable.
You get used to it darting left and right with suspension movement..
I would say it is easy to handle…ish.:roflmao:
