GT4 pack is -35% on Steam

While checking player statictics, I found that, the player number increases on the DLC releases. This is not 100% correct but can give some idea about the possible DLC sales.

The logic is, the sudden increase in player number can be the ones who purchased new content at the release day.

Getting expensive considering price per item.

The GT4 DLC was 20$ for
11 cars since release day (scratch built)
= 1,8$ per item

2020 World DLC is 9$ for
1 imported track (count as 2 cars) + 2 revised car = 4 items
(I don't consider new driver name or new tire as item)
= 2,25$ per item
Take into account everything that is worked on for DLC, for example that includes liveries. In that case you get:
GT4 - 11cars + 52 liveries = 63items = 0.317euros per item
2020 - 1 track + 2 cars + 60 liveries = 63 items = 0.14euros per item
Of course to make it more complex you can include level of work as track > car > livery, but I don't see price per item going up between DLCs. ;)

As for percentages of having base game and dlc almost same on price, Rob answered that. Price also includes age of game. Base game is older than DLC, so it will get bigger discount. For this, best is to check pricing of ETS2/ATS: old base game is not similar, instead it is cheaper compared to new DLCs.

:poop: while doing this I have convinced myself to get 2020 pack now. Looks more like gift. :roflmao:

I don't care much about liveries but your calculation looks logical someone who cares liveries.

If you check my calculation, you can see that I've included complexity and counted a track as 2 items. You missed that I think.

I saw that. Anyway, they don't put price on what you, me or someone else cares in the DLC. They are putting price based on work that went into it, and that includes liveries. So I find it fair to include it in this calculation.

What is the point of ruining every ACC thread by spreading your infinite negativity?
Price is wrong, performance is bad, VR doesn't work, FFB is bad and feels like a game with no weight transfer.
May be it's time to move on and focus on what you really enjoy, like rFactor2, I don't think there is anything that could possibly make you happy in ACC.

Maybe you are right.

But maybe I'm just trying to make negative points visible from my perspective to make the game and pricing better for everybody.

I couldn't understand how the game will improve if we only talk about the positive sides like the youtubers make on their reviews. I haven't heard anything negative since the release from their reviews.

It is funny that when someone writes sth negative, pawns start defending the game without any counter argument. Stop playing, don't buy etc. :roflmao:

If people don't complain, there will be no updates as well.

Totally agree. And if point can be discussed when it's about performance and FFB, the latest "number of ACC update" comment is here to troll. Added this member to my ignore list, case closed.

It’s a shame that the GT4 pack is dead online otherwise I’d consider buying it.

I counted 3-4 servers tops and not one was populated.

I gave it a chance during sale even I don't feel happy after buying because of my previous written comments. I hope I was wrong and I will enjoy them.

You are right about online server issue. But if you are not fast or experienced, mp experience can be negative because of missing valid ranking system like iracing.

After this sale, maybe more people will try and players like you can find real opponents easily.
