AC GT3 Race @ Okayama International Circuit - Fri 15Sep17

This week the GT3's will roll into Okayama, Japan. We're going to shorten quali to 15 mins. on Friday nights for certain tracks. This will allow us to run longer races from time to time. This weeks race........90 minutes and no mandatory pitstop so get the dice ready men and be ready to gamble.

All premium members using their full Real Name in the forum, race servers and teamspeak can sign up for this event and we have unlimited slots available so make sure to bring a friend. Sign up below and make sure to tag fellow community members who you think are up for a challenge!

Since this is a multi manufacturer event please make sure you are signed up with the car of your choice by Friday September 15th 17:00 EDT (21:00 GMT) or you may have to settle for whatever is left. You DON'T want to be that guy. Late sign ups will have to take what is left. Thanks for understanding.

A message to all Drivers

If you run off track, you have to check and see that its clear before you re-enter the track. Do not just keep the gas pinned and pull back on track.
When entering the track from the pits stay off the racing line until you are up to speed and do not race on your out lap. Let other drivers by in qualifying.
On re-entering the track stay off the racing line until you are up to race speed and do not block any fast approaching car. Remember, you've made the mistake by going off so let them by cleanly.


Golden Rule

1. Be 100% sure it's not your fault and just carry on like nothing happened and take the risk of being banned for 30 days.
2. Play on the safe side and wait for the affected drivers, knowing 100% sure you will not get a ban.

Track limits

1. No more than 2 wheels over the white/yellow line without a complete lift of the gas please if it is safe to do so.
   You will be penalized if you break our rules

Hey Bobby - remember the talk we had about the track and performance on lower end computers?
It turns out I was not the only one seeing these issues but a few others who posted in the support thread of the mod track. The issues I described to you were related to the track and Mitja is very hard and superfast at work, having already updated the track twice since.

First users have already reported performance improvements and Mitja describes performance similar to Kunos Barcelona track according to his own tests - sounds very promising and I hope this solves any performance issues people were seeing.

Not sure if I can sign up just yet - will be a late comer I think.

Yea Dirk, Mitja is hard at it and has notified me of the changes. I will be updating the server as soon as I can so we can all get the up to date version and test it out on the practice server. Thanks for the heads up. I sure hope this works for you man.
