A message to all Drivers

If you run off track, you must check to see that its clear before you re enter the track. Always try to re-enter the track parallel to the racing line. Stay off the racing line until you are up to race speed and do not block any fast approaching car.

When joining the track from the pits, remain inside the white line and stay off the racing line until you are up to speed.

During qualification, do not race on your out lap, let other drivers by.

Golden Rule
  1. If you hit somebody, sending them off the track and carry on like nothing happened, you take the risk of being banned for 30 days.
  2. Instead, you should always wait for the affected drivers, and that way you can be 100% sure you will not get a ban.
Track limits
  1. You will get 3 warnings before a drive through penalty for exceeding track limits to your advantage. Any warnings/penalties are displayed in the chat window at the end of each lap
Note: Please use your full real name in Discord and in game. Not doing so may result in you being kicked from the server if an admin cannot identify who you are.

What a refreshing experience , down loaded all 4 cars, drove three laps back to back with them all at Thruxton, no off's , all cars are brilliant, so much reminds me of ACC.
Even the 911 was a joy, difficult to say which is best.
I think they are at the top or near the top of the best cars I have on AC.
:):):):):):):):)
PS
for me all the same apart from the EGT which we are not using.

I'll be there!
It's been fun getting to know the Mercedes... but that c8r is calling my name :geek:

Also here is an IMSA track skin for Laguna if anyone wants

You won't be disapointed Casper, they are all very good and well worth the investment!
Looking forward to the 992 to be honest! Read through the manual and it looks interesting, has anyone figured out already what the most thirsty fuel map is yet?

EDIT: So it looks like switching the engine map on the fly doesn't quite work but the higher the value the higher the fuel usages.

Has anyone figured out how to properly read the tyre pressure? The default app doesn't show temps, and most other apps don't quite work with them either, I suppose that's because of the C_PHYS part of the CM patch that is being used.

I found this from the 991 in ACC. Guess it is similar, but I'm not sure. 8 is the one you use in ACC as far as i remember.

I pretty much know the Corvette is the quickest, it’s turn in is spot on and is a brilliant car to drive. ( sounds great too )
But I just love the Porsche, and as we are not tied into one car, for a circuit I do not like, thought I would and will give the Porsche a run here.
After year's of failing to come to terms with the Kunos Porsche GT3, it is refreshing to be able to drive this excellent example.
:)
PS
I thought I was going to be the only one in the Porsche, and everyone would be in the Corvette. Just signed up and there are a lot of drivers that are going the Porsche route.

From my testing with the 992.

Engine Map - Steering wheel control seems broken. Probably not usefull outside of 4 hours + races, but hopefully gets patched or someone knows of a fix.
  1. Most Power
  2. TBC
  3. Less Power
  4. TBC
  5. Least Power
  6. Safe?? TBC
Brake Ducts
0 is most closed = Around 500 - 750 C here at Laguna.
5 is most open = 300 - 400C here
I was using 3 front 2 rear in the end. Not sure what is optimum temps.

Car is most excellent.

From the UI:

Darche 992 GT3-R 2023
Tyre info
Optimal pressure: 26psi/1.8bar
Optimal temp range: 80-95C

Some more skins added for the porker

As others have said they are a great selection of cars. I enjoyed an evening or two of futzing trying all the cars before I finally commited to the 911. Only to find there are no more slots left! That serves me right.

@Interslice are you able to juggle the slots to allow another 911 or shall Ipick one of the others? Either is fine.

Glad you are enjoying them Dave! I'll reshuffle now. Easily done.
