I'll be trying something a little different with this event. There won't be any booking. So the race will still start at the same time, but the hour that would normally be wasted sitting around for booking to end will now be tacked onto the practice session. Let me know what you think if you prefer the old way or this way better.

The only thing I don't like about the jump-ins is the inability to pick skins :(

Sounds good to me. That is what I normally did while waiting for booking so it would be good to get some seat time on the correct grip level. BTW, will the grip build up and carry over into qual/race? I'll take the Corvette.

I know, but I'm just curious to see how it goes. I'm trying to work around the issues that keep showing up with MP, and this may be a viable work-around

Yes, the grip will carry over, but since there will be an extra hour of driving, I'll have to slow down the rate at which the track rubbers in. The race should be somewhere around 93-94%

Gimme the 458 GT2.

Also note, that during qualifying, if you have to exit the server, you will lose your qualifying time (if you had set one before exiting).
