Description
Test race to get used to the new GT2 cars. Also a good chance for newcomers to get familiar with the format, practice the rolling start, pit stops, racing each other etc.

• 30 minute GT2 race
• 10:00 in-game race start
• Short formation lap - stay in the green marker

How can I join this event?

• Non-premium members: PM me for the password and a copy of the club rules, I'll then add you to the list.
• Premium members: Reply in this thread stating you want to join, I'll then add you to the list. Server password can be found HERE
• Servername: search for "RACEDEPARTMENT"

All skill levels welcome but we ask that you can control the car and know the racing line around the track. Anyone driving in a dangerous manner may be removed from the server.

What do I need to know?

• CLUB RULES ARE ENFORCED. Check them out HERE
• We highly recommend using the in-built ACC radar when racing so you can keep it close and fair
• Voice chat is available on the RD Discord if you want to chat. Please use push to talk and limit chat during the race to apologies / lapped traffic info.
• PLEASE ENSURE YOUR REAL NAME IS SET ON YOUR RD PROFILE AND MATCHES YOUR IN-GAME

Michael and I had some fight for a while .
Still a little confused about these GT2 cars , not sure if I like them ;-)

Aside from GT3 the other classes in ACC are often seen as difficult, or more challenging to drive. I enjoyed the race last night, particularly as I wasn't miles off the pace, which is unusual for me I'd like to do more of these races, but don't really mind which car class is used.

Well we can´t leave GT2 after one race, there sure is more to
find out about them. and get use to

I enjoyed RBR. It’s not many corners and forgiving. So easy to learn. GT2 cars ride the curbs well too.

I have the GT2 pack, but won't race it because the BOP of the GT2 cars is a joke.
Only Maserati and maybe AMG are useful when you see the times. Come on, this is a GT2 class, not a Maserati Cup with some AMG joining.
Is it that hard to give all cars a fair BOP?
