Back with a bang at the Geneva Motor Show, Toyota have revealed a tasty looking concept of their GR Supra Racing car - coming to GT Sport this April!

The Supra model has been absent from motorsport for a very long time, having last rolled off the production line back in 2002. Held in high esteem by petrol heads and racing fans alike, the Supra brand is arguably one of the most iconic Japanese car models in the last two decades, and thanks to the design boffins over at Toyota the legendary name might not be too far away from a return in the near future following the revealing of this interesting looking concept design.

Retaining much of the original Supra form times past, the GR Supra Racing Concept revealed yesterday will at the very least hit the virtual race tracks in the coming weeks, with Polyphony Digital quick out of the blocks to confirm the car will be added to Gran Turismo - a game holding firm as the place to be for racing car concepts, as early as next month.

No further details have been revealed about the GT Sport version of the car, include exact date it is expected to land nor if it will be free or paid content, but one thing is for sure - we have just taken one important step closer to seeing a return of the legendary Supra name to race tracks the world over.

GT Sport is available for Sony PlayStation 4 now.

Why am I not shocked that the Supra will make it to the sim racing world before we even get one in the Toyota dealers.
They revealed LFA the same way, first racecar and after that production version. That's how they roll now. But beside that, i like to see that new Supra is coming, but hate the fact that it is shared with BMW, that's like slap on the face... Supra should be pure Supra and not some mixed up s..t even how good it might be.
