Hunsley increases championship lead with 3rd win
Jack Hunsley showed another faultless performance to take the win at the Canadian GP. Engberink took 2nd after his misfortune in the previous race, Black finished a surprising 3rd to complete the podium.
At the start Keranen had kept his lead, while Kederer dropped from 3rd to 5th. Foro dropped to 7th, and after a turn 1 collision with Rinneaho a few laps in the race they both found themselves at the end of the field. 3 drivers retired before the first pitstop window, Brugman's engine blew up, Buurlage suffered an oil leak and Goddard hit the wall.
Keranen lost out during the stops, and dropped to 3rd behind Hunsley and Engberink. Black got up to 4th, while Ancevski dropped to 6th behind Kederer. Sigoulakis was up to 7th as he was on a one stopper. 2nd stops came and Keranen again lost a position, this time to Black. Diehl now held 6th, ahead of Laad who once again was busy at successfully passing other drivers during the race. That wasn't the end to it though, Keranen and Kederer both spun off and dropped a few places when the German tried to get past the Aussie, resulting in a contact.
