Utzer tops the timesheets
5th pole of the season for the Williams driver, beating his fellow countryman Kederer only by 6 hundredths in his final run. Saidy and Engberink will start from 2nd row, the latter was already over half a second behind the pole time. Poirier in 5th ahead of both Prosts, who probably will be looking to get a double points finish. Néron in 8th and the two McLaren rounding up the top 10. The Jordans with a surprisingly poor performance today, only in 14th and 16th. McNamara in last for the 5th time, but with his strong race pace he might find a way into the points once again.

Utzer's lead shrinks
In a thrilling race Rami Saidy has taken his third win and reduced the gap to teammate Utzer to 14 points. The German seemed to have the win in the bag, but in lap 42 his Supertec engine blew up on Kemmel straight, handing the lead over to his teammate Saidy, who was 2 seconds behind at that point.
At the start of the race the top 3 remained unchanged, not for long though as Saidy easily got past Kederer on Kemmel straight thanks to the supreme engine power. Poirier had gone past Engberink, and the Prost drivers switched places as well. In lap 4 both Arrows drivers found themselves in the gravel. Within seconds first Black ran off in Pouhon, then Buurlage spun in Fagnes. Both could continue, however now at the end of the field. Néron was the first to pit in lap 7 due to a puncture. No changes at the front until the first round of stops, further back Martins had crashed out in Stavelot just before his stop. The Williams drivers were still leading, Keranen now up in third as he was on a one stop strategy. Kederer in 4th, Engberink in 5th got past Poirier, who was in 7th. Diehl in 6th place, but as Keranen he too had yet to make his first stop.
When they came in around the halfway point, Poirier and Wolf got back in the points positions. The second round of stops came, during which Engberink got past Kederer. Keranen was back in 5th, just ahead of Poirier. The Williams drivers were really close now, swapping positions a few times before Utzer managed to build a small gap to Saidy. In lap 38 Wolf's engine blew up, denying him a points finish. One lap later Poirier had to pit for a third time due to electrical issues. In lap 41 Foro's car stopped with a gearbox failure, one lap later then Utzer's retirement. In the final lap Ancevski lost his 5th place when Hunsley passed him.

FIA Press Conference
@mystaaRS: Back in the title fight with this win, who do you think will take it in the end?
@Tim Engberink: Another strong result, what is possible in the next races?
@Milos: First point in a while, what was different compared to the previous rounds?

Market is open!

Yes, my podium streak continues, shame for Ben, he surely got this one in the bag, bit strange things can happen. Thrilled about the result, shame Jimmy couldn't slice his way through the field more.

Buys will come soon
