A fun car, a great "drivers track" to race it on and limited setup changes - lets be having you!

Nice one, Chris! People always say good things about the Ginetta. Is it right-hand drive? I think the last one I drove was the Lister Storm in GTR2.
I believe so mate, it's been a while since I've taken it for a spin. Great little car to drive!

Quality, cheers Chris

Hopefully get a few hours in at the weekend prior to the race

Can’t find a lap time for this from anyone on simgp, although track guides are saying 1:41? Sounds insanely quick, guessing that’s with a good setup.

I loved racing this car in the series we did a while back, I think tyre pressures are different for these cars too? If I get any time for a few laps I'll post my setup.

GT4 tyre pressures seems to be a tad lower according to the following sources:
  • 26.8 - 27.4 (Coach Dave Academy)
  • 26.5 - 27.0 (ACC Wiki)
  • 27.0 - 27.5 (Random people on steam)

Quality, cheers Chris

41 is like world record, best i know of is as 40.9

1:44 flat after 10 laps, track 32 degrees C. I've found you need to brake hard initially but leave some trail braking into the apex to keep the front from washing out. Great fun to drive.

I managed to get into the 43s with a standard setup, well I managed it once lol

I find I’m fighting quite a lot of oversteer on the quick corners and that right hander at knickerbrook… the kirb on the left when exiting is deadly lol

Yep, that thing will suck you in like a wormhole :roflmao: I'm loving the oversteer, feels like you are wrestling it around the track. The GT3 cars are so well behaved (well, most of them are) I forgot how much fun these GT4s are, need to drive it like a touring car.

No idea, I thought it was a great combo but it seems unless it's GT3 and a track we've done to death then the numbers drop.

Should we cancel chaps?

ahh crap, thats poor :(

I was just on it putting in a few more laps, I really enjoy Oulton Park and i managed to almost get 1:42 with the Ginetta.

Ah well, great car and track combo

Literally just 2 of us mate, not enough for the server to launch. Guess the football is keeping people away, was looking forward to this one. Sorry you wasted time practicing for it :(

There is an rf2 race tonight I'm going to try and join.
