Buriram International Circuit

The Buriram International Circuit, also known for commercial purposes as the Chang International Circuit (Thai: ช้าง อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล เซอร์กิต), has exploded onto the motorsports scene, propelling Thailand onto the international stage for the first time.

• Assists: Factory TC and ABS
• Standing Start: Jump Start = Drive through penalty

A message to all Drivers

If you run off track, you must check to see that its clear before you re enter the track. Always try to re-enter the track parallel to the racing line. Stay off the racing line until you are up to race speed and do not block any fast approaching car.

When joining the track from the pits, remain inside the white line and stay off the racing line until you are up to speed.

During qualification, do not race on your out lap, let other drivers by.


Golden Rule

1. If you hit somebody, sending them off the track and carry on like nothing happened, you take the risk of being banned for 30 days.
2. Instead, you should always wait for the affected drivers, and that way you can be 100% sure you will not get a ban.

Track limits

1. You will get 2 warnings before a 5 second penalty for exceeding track limits to your advantage. Any warnings/penalties are displayed in the chat window at the end of each lap

This track reminded me it's been a long time since we've seen a video from Chris Haye.

Great choice Brian. We ran this in the F3 championship a couple of weeks ago and it really suits fast cars with some flowing sections.

Ye it's a nice track. I will miss this unfortunately. Our last club race in the Ginetta for a bit. Has been an enjoyable extended run in them. After Okayama I plan to kick on to faster cars.

Congrats Fulvio. Sorrry for punt was braking super late. Was fun driving the Ginetta again in VR. Hope more attendants next time, maybe they are watching F1. Maybe a new winner, Norris is leading with 12 laps to go.

A good job from Fulvio and Thomas, Thomas, you did well to keep ahead of Fulvio for as long as you did.
I had forgotten to change from qualy fuel to race set up so started with 10 litres, only just enough to make it to the pit window opening. Then had to add 50 litres and try to keep it on track as my race was with Jari. The Ginetta goes a lot better on lower fuel loads so I had to push to keep in the window of Jari’s pit stop.
When Jari eventually pitted I managed to jump ahead and maintain a gap to the finish.
Good car/track combo, the Ginetta felt nice around here after some tweaks to the set up.
Small grid but fun, hopefully more for the next one.
