I'm selling everything else so am just going to put this out there and see if someone is interested...
My 'youtube famous' (50K combined views - a small amount, but was huge for my small channel) modded Thrustmaster F1 rim.
Was a standard Thrustmaster F1 Ferrari rim and I made the following mods to it:
Replaced all the main buttons with better ones (not the rotaries or paddles).
Installed a Nextion 3.2" screen for Hybrid F1 style displays (uses simhub)
Installed Arduino + 16 WS2812B LEDs for shift lights (again using simhub)
Carbon/Glass fiber 0.5mm panel to cover the new components.
Note that this was my own mod that I did myself and the build is far from perfect, but I was pretty happy with it and it got some good use for about 18 months.
DM if you're interested. Haven't really thought of a price to be honest but less than £100.
I almost forgot, I wrote a blog post at the time on how I made it if you want to learn more - Blog post
If anyone's interested, I should be able to plug it into simhub to see if it still works (last used in Jan 2019).
Here are some videos in action:
Screen & LED testing with various dash displays I made (dashes downloadable on race department):
Early testing of concept and components:
