Welcome to the RD Racing Club.

This week a hidden gem on the Andalusian coast (fictional). The circuit has a great atmosphere, fast corners and many elevation changes. A pleasure to drive!

Hi,
I have just became premium member and would like to join you on this race. Is it possible to provide me an emperor account so that I can register for the race?

Thanks

Fred Bakker (or gwabakk if you need my username)
Hi Fred,

You're very welcome! I will send you a PM with all the necessary information.

Track layout looks quite interesting.
Can't wait to install it just before the race and struggle through official practice because I don't think I will have time to look at it before Wednesday
See you Wednesday!

Hurrah, fresh blood! Hope you have fun Wednesday. If there's anything you need help with, just let us know. :)

Great track choice, @HF2000, it's a really enjoyable drive. Haven't really practiced as all my time went into preparing for the F4 race, but it'll be fun! Also a very nice track for the Lotus 49. I've been taking that car onto various circuits because it's such a different car compared to all other's I've ever driven. This is the first track I somewhat feel comfortable driving it.

Tried the track and i have to say im impressed by the level of the details around and the track flow with the mx5 feels so good unfortunately i cannot do this race but hey well done to the track creator

Nice track, hard to get the limit right every time. Did a few quickish laps, but couldn't keep that consistent. Could keep P2 a long time, 'cause Han and Rico were playing, but they kept closing in. After pitting I had Rico in my mirrors, and every laps he took a few tenths of, even when I did a quick lap, good pace man! Near the end, I screwed up the exit last turn, so Rico could go for it, we battled in the first few corners and we took a spin on Han's request, your wish is our command o great lordship in the Beehive! Had to keep Han off my tail and managed to do that longer than I thought, by remembering his own words on the start, defend the inside, so I did as hard as possible. Only in the last half of the last lap I just went over the limit when we were two wide in the corner and I spun. Ernie couldn't avoid me a few seconds later, but he could carry on, luckily.

Was a bit lonely out there, but keeping an eye on mirrors and realtime app kept me busy while trying to stay steady. Worked for most of the race, working on consistency and not overdriving a lot lately (which I find pretty hard in the mazda). Race craft has to follow after that  .

Thanks guys, had a lot of fun tonight! Congrats podiums and thanks Han.

That was a lot of fun! A great track to have between the Fat-Alfie races. More of this please, Han :)

Was hoping to maybe get into the Allan/Ernie fight if I could survive the first part, but a loss of concentration meant I was going a lot slower the first few laps. Ended up fighting with Han for a while until we both found pace and then it was a case of closing the gap to Bouke who had a really great start.

Pitted and found myself infront of Han after his pitstop. Not sure what happened there, but I'll gladly take it! Allan was long gone with his incredible pace and consistency, Ernie decided to give others a chance at the podium, so Bouke and I had to fight out who would take P2. After hotlapping for a while and trying not to die, I finally had the chance to overtake going into T1. We both corkscrewed it up and I ended up spinning Bouke. Sorry again for that, man. You deserved P2 and I took it from you in the wrong way. :( I mostly blame myself for that, but can't help but think Han jinxed us moments before :roflmao: :roflmao:

Thanks all for the nice racing tonight. Congrats to Allan and Han for the podium and see you all next time :)

No problem Rico, I was too much pointed to the wrong way, wouldn’t let you wait so long, and I was part of our racing pirouette as well so that’s why I said ‘go’. Got back in the right direction just in time to play with Han for a few laps. So, no worries man!

I really enjoyed the Suzuki here, I just sat behind Allan yo yoing backwards and forwards. Allan just never looked as though he was going to make a mistake so that left me permanently in no mans land.
Even if I had got by, I would have been a sitting duck for a re overtake.
Not that I meant it but an off made the race for me, had a real battle with many
People, to many to meantion, all were great oponenents, none were easy, kept me interested for the whole race.
:)

Nice race where I had a good pace. Heavy battles with Rico for 3rd place, he overtook me on the straights, I squeezed him in the corners. I think it was all fair. But then his lap times improved and when he did his pitstop I had to counter the undercut by pitting on the next lap. But I hadn't practiced the pitstop and I had the 1st pitbox so I completely overshot it and lost a total of 13 seconds or so because that was the gap to Rico. The gap stayed like that until Rico and Bauke had an incident and I was close behind Bauke. A nice battle where I didn't have a chance to overtake because Bauke was defending the inside. On the last lap Bauke went a bit too wide and spun so I ended up on the podium. Nice to be there but to be realistic, if Jason, Fulvio, Thomas had been there and Ernie hadn't spun I would have finished 7th.

Great debut from @gwabakk! Fred, you may not feel it that way, but for the first time with us and with the standard setup you had a great pace. History shows that newcomers who compete regularly improve seconds over time, so absolutely no reason to be disappointed.

Next week round 3 of the Fat-Alfie championship at Bremgarten. https://www.overtake.gg/threads/fat...nd-3-bremgarten-wed-16th-october-2024.276976/
