Hy there guys,
currently I´m dealing with a very annoying problem.
I really love the TCR Cupra and enjoy racing it on open servers.
The servers I race on recently changed the source of the mods to add the TCR Elantra.
The problem is that the Cupra from Trained Monkey Modding was a blast to drive, raw and visceral,
I´m loving it.
The new version from FW modding feels quite similar but has a very annoying flaw:
IT SPINS UP IT´S REAR WHEELS!!!
Look here, the throttle graph shows I´m WOT and the rear wheels are smoking:
same situation in Motec:
it´s clear that the rear right went from lockup ( understandable, look at the brake bias and the last corner was a right) to 100% positive slip ratio which means total spinup.
WTF??
I´ve seen this behaviour also on the Clio Cup, but there on the inner tyre so that this doesn´t mean insta spin like in this case. It took me a while to find the cause because the first few spins I thought I put the rear tyre into the gras and got punished with snap oversteer.
Any ideas how to get rid of this other than to drive the (boring) Elantra?
Thanks in advance, Carsten
