Not sure if something technical drove the change, but I much preferred the previous forum layouts (in particular for the racing clubs), with the 'Previous' races under a single heading, a group for sticky general notices, and a separated group for upcoming races.
The current 'ungrouped' layout (with upcoming races just as sticky along with announcements, and regular threads all in a line) seems jumbled and harder to find what you want to look at.
In short - previously it seemed organized, now not so much.
