great skin design, could you guide me on how to create such high quality skin? especially the wrinkles and shadows. Are adobe illustrator and photoshop enough to get the job done?

Photoshop is fine, Gimp and Paint.net work too. This one was only in 2k and yet the quality is very good for a 2k skin. All my other designs are in 4k DXT5 (4096/4096).
Then always make sure that you are using high quality logos. You can also use Content Manager for 3d preview and is free to download.
Patience, accuracy and attention to detail will always make a skin stand out.
