2: These cars have Launch Control. Here is explained how to use it.

launch control. hopefully this will help someone.

step 1 - pull up to grid box.
step 2 - engage neutral
step 3 - push and hold launch control
step 4 - when the lights start to go red still holding launch control push gas pedal to 100%
step 5 - when the lights go out release launch control. keep foot planted and go thru the gears

things not to do.

don't use touch a manual clutch pedal while launching under this proceedure.
don't use part throttle. keep it 100%.
if lifting to avoid an incident ahead remember if you plant your foot again you may spin it... cold tyres! treat it like a lady

3: The T- Cam is a little bit weird on these cars. So if you want a good Camera for it go to your download-> FN2008 Support-> Fn2008 Cams edit and put the Cam file into Program Files-> rFactor-> Gamedata-> Vehicles-> FN 2008 and put the file there.

finally everythings works fine again, after a brand new installation....

owboy what a work to do that....GTRE/GTR2/rFactory and modifications @ Nvidia Control Panel, Headmovements etc,.

but i just tested it, and it seems good to me.

Only 6 of us tonight but still some excellent racing, had a good tussle with Ivo trying to keep him behind me in the first race and then until I spun, trying to catch him in race 2, imagine a full grid of these cars it would be great.

It's a shame, because RD counts more than 3000 members and only 6 peeps are racing this game???

It's one of the best mod's ever and rFactor is even nicer than Race/GTR Evo
but GTR2 is the best.

Had some great racing with Ferry grats for the 2 wins. Tryed to make it a bit hard for him but had not the pace and did stupid mistakes :woop:

race 1:
second on the grid. P1 after the first courner Then I realised I was running to much downforce... Lost tooo much on the straights. Ferry went closer and closer, then I lost the car into T1 little contact with Ferry. Tryed to follow him 5secs behind but in finish it was c.a.15secs. P2 in finish

race 2:
did some setup changes. more top speed ftw. Again close qualy and second on the grid. Was able to get on P1 again. Was 2secs ahead Ferry comming closer again... then he catched me and some great slippstream action Nice fight a couple of laps. Finaly he passed me. Tryed to stay in the slippstream but was not able to overtake back because I stock in the limiter :thinking: lost then 1sec. Tryed to push back but lost the rear of the car under braking :at-wits-end: Ferry c.a. 14sec ahead. Tryed then to do the fastest lap of the race. Did it ... and then lost the car again ending in gravel lol. P2 again.
