Notes:
  • Chatting of any kind during Qualifying and the Race is strictly prohibited in the chat. There is no need to say sorry/thanks/pitting/leaving pits/etc. Anything that needs to be said can wait until after the session.
  • If you feel you were wronged in any way during an event and wish to report the incident, simply send the event organiser a private message. Please include a description of the incident along with a video. If you are unable to create a video, please include details such as who was involved and where the incident happened with a timestamp. Do not post reports/accusations in the thread itself - negativity and anger gets us nowhere.
  • We encourage all our drivers to use Teamspeak 3, download here. Talking directly to your fellow drivers increases the fun and the ability to share information in an easy friendly way. It will improve your driving skills dramatically, Log in here

Just a Note: On this track the Formula ISI is really easy to drive. I normally don't really get on top of it.

So attached you can find my setup. It is basically lowest wing settings possible, adjusted steering lock, a bit softer front suspension, adjusted brake ducts and long gearing.
I use pretty high rotation for that 500° or even more so the steering is not that sharp, which is important when you go fast with DRS open.

Additionally here a little track guide from my side
  1. You cross the line at about 350kph DRS wide open and focus on T1 (curva grande) I am not joking you can take this corner with DRS open and completely flat out, if there is a bit rubber laid down. You have to take the entry a bit wider and stay exactly on the rubbered racing line. It is really hard to get right and most of the time not worth the risk so you can close DRS after the first part of the turn in before it gets tighter and open it again before you have exited the corner
  2. If you had DRS open through curva grande you will be nearly hitting 350kph again before T2 (Lesmo 1). Usually I brake too early because your brakes have not been used for 4 or 5 km so they are really cold and if you brake to late you loose a big chunk of time. Again you should take a wide line in and than close to the apex, but try to avoid the grass. You have to stay exactly on the racing line otherwise you will go into the barrier. After the apex you can really push down the throttle early and open the DRS then accelerate up to 5th gear before Lesmo 2. I think with low fuel and good rubber closing the DRS can be enough to make it flat out. Just close the DRS and a small lift before the Apex and then again very early on throttle and DRS.
  3. Now you have some time to relax before we approach the Parabolica. I think I brake at the last or second to last meter board. Again late braking won't gain you a lot of time and just send you into the gravel, which is really hard to get out :D. I take it in 3rd gear and the exit depends really on traction. Most of the time I have to accelerate very carefully, but DRS can be opened relatively early.
  4. Now we approach the first banked corner try to don't cross the inside line. I usually stay on the rubbered line with DRS open through the turn.
  5. The second banked corner can be more tricky especially with no rubber. You can close DRS after the corner gets tighter and open it again after most of the turn. I would recommend that in the race if you don't need to push 100%, because every bump there can catch you out
  6. After the exit of the last corner stay close or a bit over the white line on the outside, because there is a big bump in the middle of the road.
I hope some others will join and that guide can help others, so we can have a real close race. Any comments on the setup are welcome, because I didn't put a lot of effort into it.
