To ease up the sign up process, I've changed the attendance requirement into 'voluntary, but recommended'.
Drivers briefings are meant to inform and to raise the level of driving among our participants, not to limit access to our events and to introduce tension into our Racing Club.

@Henri Sinik
@Edwin Collingridge
@Tomi Manninen
@Franco Grigoletti

I need to switch the schedule around for the briefing to come later in the event - will be absent up around ~19:45, 20:00 GMT.

Edwin, can you please restart the race starts after 19:40 GMT? Just let the cars do one lap and then restart from the ESC menu.

New procedure
Booking: 18:00 GMT
Practice: 19:00 GMT
Race start practice: 19:40 GMT
Drivers Briefing, Q&A & debrief: 20:00 GMT
Estimated end of event: 20:45 GMT

if i book up at lets say 19:30 GMT, will it still work to join?
Nope, not with the switched schedule.

btw, I hope you know that the contents of the briefing are the same for FP1 and FP2. If you want to practice race starts or just want to drive with fellow participants, then being at both practice sessions is fine.
