Films/music that make you cry

Kyle Puttifer

@Simberia
Film - Senna, at the funeral and crash scenes. Plus, the change of atmosphere in the cinema at the start of the Imola 94 weekend was very creepy.

Music - A Morte, from the Senna OST.

I've got no idea why these scenes affect me so much, especially the OST, but maybe the recent deaths of Dan Wheldon and Marco Simoncelli have altered me emotionally.
Post yours here.

All around me are familiar faces
worn out places, worn out faces
Bright and early for the daily races
Going nowhere, going nowhere
Their tears are filling up their glasses
No expression, no expression
Hide my head I wanna drown my sorrow
No tomorrow, no tomorrow

And I find it kind of funny
I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which I'm dying
Are the best I've ever had
I find it hard to tell you
I find it hard to take
When people run in circles
It's a very very, mad world, mad world

Children waiting for the day they feel good
Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday
And I feel the way that every child should
Sit and listen, sit and listen
Went to school and I was very nervous
No one knew me, no one knew me
Hello teacher tell me what's my lesson
Look right through me, look right through me

And I find it kind of funny
I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which I'm dying
Are the best I've ever had
I find it hard to tell you
I find it hard to take
When people run in circles
It's a very very, mad world, mad world
Enlarge your world, mad world

Yes,the Senna movie made me cry as well. A song that brings tears to my eyes in happiness is "Good Life " by One Republic. It makes me think of how fortunate i am for having the girlfriend that I have and how well things are going between us. Now songs that make me cry in anguish and disgust, anything from Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber lol lol lol!. I'll post vids later for im at my doctor's again for my foot, and I'm on my "Stupid " smartphone which won't let me post vids lol!

Actually i have two from the same group.

This doesn't make me cry. But it makes me think deeply about I have done, and what I shouldn't have done.
Maybe I should actually add the vid.. :p

Films/music usually don't make me cry. When I'm down though, songs that tell you that "childhood is over" can almost do it. Movies, well, generally when someone important dies in a movie, and there is a general sad feeling about it, but that is just an almost as well.
I need to be really down to cry because of something, and usually those things that do it with me are my own thoughts. But that's really not often. Time hardened me a bit.

I used to be exactly like that, but the two recent deaths of Wheldon and Simoncelli seem to have softened me up a little bit...
