This track
  • Good overtaking opportunities are T1, 3, 4 and 8.
  • -

In general
  • A turn is defined by a 'Change in direction'.
  • Be sure to practice race starts with cold tyres to get a clean and fast getaway from the grid - this is also a safety issue to avoid spins and accidents right after the lights go out.
  • You may also share your setups with a short description in the 'Assetto Corsa Setups' forum.
  • Be careful during overtaking and give your fellow drivers enough room to maneuver.
  • Make sure you are sufficiently far alongside the car you want to overtake before committing to a move. Additionally, be sure your fellow driver sees you and is aware/can sense/can predict where you are /where you will be in the next couple of seconds. This will massively reduce unnecessary contact and clumsy accidents.
  • The virtual rear mirror (press F11), the red triangles at the corners of your screen pointing at a close car and a regular look back (map a button) will help you with that.

@Christoph Wohlkönig I'd be glad to do that, but neither the 312t nor Monza are my strong points! We can try it though, we'll have 1 hour of qualifying for our tests!

Come on guys, let's fill up the grid!!! This will be much fun! Don't forget that we have slipstreaming now!!

Wow, thank you that would be really great...but to be honest i did some 10 laps now on this combo overall...yesterday...and from this ten i stayed maybe two on track :roflmao::cry:
My best time was 1.48.8 so 4.6 sec from RSR WR  i don´t have braking points atm but braking zones or even areas
I just don´t have the time to practice more :( ...but having somebody, who knows what he is doing, driving in front or behind me for some laps would still help i guess...
Also i noticed that a good setup is more important than i thought (because everybody said standard setups are so good in AC) especially in open wheelers. I tried the one stated in this link above but that was undriveable until i added just one click of rear wing...now i can keep the car on track :D

Really hope there is a race tonight because i love AC just for these kind of cars, that great diversity...not this GT2, GT3 all the time :inlove:

one of the cars i havent really tried yet... but grid needs to be filled!
wont be able to start qualingering before 19.30, but i guess you wont mind.
sign me up please!
(link to an easy-to-drive-setup would be much appreciated)

as i'll only hit the booking button at 18.00 and will be afk till 19.30: any idea how to contact me if the server needs a restart/rebooking? mobile-number -> whatsapp/sms ?

I really can't drive this car, and struggling with H shifter. If I'm dangerous, I will just leave, but I'll give it a go in practice at least.

You can always use the paddles if you 're having trouble with the shifter ;)
It's a bit slower, but safer!

Thanks. Thing is, I really wanna learn to drive fast with it, and I am aiming to keep the realism as high as possible these days by driving with the h shifter more. I don't really wanna undo it.
