DRS info:
DRS becomes available when the car in front is closer than 1 or 2s when passing the DRS detection (it's always available in practice and quali).
You can activate DRS with the "rear flap"-key once you are in the DRS zone.

The DRS light looks like ths:

(yellow: available; orange: can be activated; green: active)

Had some fun testing on the server. As I seemed to gain a lot in the last sector. I made a small onboard video of my lap and to comply with the RD rule of not posting laptimes I was on higher fuel, tyres were a few laps old, I mad a big mistake in the hairping and fast forwarded and backwarded the video on the straight, so basically no chance for anyone to figure out my laptime

I am using the High downforce package, which is not great on the long straight, but it is awesome in the last sector.

I had to sneeze after the start so I was behind David and yes DRS worked fine on the 3rd Lap of the race

Just had a few laps online to play about with DRS, is the wing flap animation the wrong way round ? when I watch a replay with the rear facing cam or the free cam the flap is open all the time, when I press to activate it, it closes, I must stress this is visual only, it is working exactly how it should.

its actually how it works.from what i've read closing the flap stalls the air, reducing drag and rendering the rearwing useless.

Ok thanks Jorn, that's opposite to F1 DRS, you can see the flaps open on the F1 broadcasts when they activate it.
