So, what does this do? Replace DX12 version with DX11? I don't understand as there's already a choice to run DX11 on startup...? I'm just curious, not saying that what you're doing is wrong, just curious as to why it would be beneficial!

This is done in order to launch the game from a shortcut without opening additional windows.

why download a modified file when you can easily create a shortcut via steam? the DX11 file is already included in the game folder. This is not only a security risk, but also a potential copyright violation.
