Codemasters have released a new batch of screenshots for the upcoming F1 2020 racing videogame.

Unless something absolutely incredible happens between now and July 10th, it very much looks like virtual racing fans will be able to drive 2020 Formula One cars before the real drivers of the series, as Codemasters remain on track to launch their newest Formula One videogame this July 10th.

As is to be expected from the officially licenced franchise, the latest release will contain all the teams, drivers and liveries of the yet to kick off 2020 Formula One season, plus some additional bonus content in the form of the 2019 and (post release) Formula 2 content alongside a selection of historically important vehicles from the history of the sport.

With little time left until release, Codemasters have been on the teaser trail once again, showing off some new screenshots from within the title - as can be seen below.

Yeah, specs are going to go up in allot of games which I know is going to be bad for some of you. So far I meet the specs of the latest racing games. Seems the specs for the previous versions of F1 are the same. Ah maybe he has a windows 7 system and this game is only for Windows 10

Wonder what your Frame Rates are with all the features set to highest settings with F1?

F1 2018 & 2019 basically changed nothing compared to each other system requirement wise.
F1 2020 will be totally the same. (Same game engine, no new things graphics wise.)

Maxed out Ultra settings on my avarage PC; I achieve above 110 fps at 1080p resolution. (F1 2019)
On High settings it's easily over 160 FPS. (Have a 144Hz monitor so it's great.) PC: Ryzen 1600, RTX 2060, 16GB 3200MHz G.SKILL RAM.
The game is not that demanding at all. Runs great on low-end hardware too.
The Windows 10 thing again? It's time to upgrade to W10. W7 & W8 was already obsolete years ago.

No. It's the same since F1 2010. Sadly.

If the rumors are true and that does turn out to be the case, do you think we will see these tracks make their was into F1 2020?

probably not. Codies doesn't have the time to create new tracks

Nah, they won't. Codemaster seemed to have serious issues in making tracks as they seemed to have low production capabilities compared to other developers.

I meet the specs just but soon will be left out, I will be able to afford to get a new PC sometime next year but I honestly don't know if I will want to, as we come out of this crazy world then things will have changed and I can't predict if that money won't be needed elsewhere, something that I think alot of people are going to have to wake up to that fact, it won't be like before for a great deal of the world.

But I will buy it cause I enjoy the simple F1 racing after the full on ACC and RF2.

I am on a Win10 machine, got 16GB RAM and a GTX1070 so like I said I am good at the moment but that time is running out and whether I go and get the next generation of stuff will be the question as I don't know what the future will be like.. and I am a Aussie so our AUD is not very flash right at the moment

I may get this game on STEAM later in the year - I like the 2 new additional tracks and has some new interesting features.
I use VORPX on my PC with my VR headset on F1 2019 so I kind of get use of these games with VR, gets me more into the game.


This game comes out with a new versionof F1 every year, how many of you go back to previous versions of F1 once you get the newer game?
I have previous versions, but always use the latest one.

It is said that F1 officials will license a game company to develop simulation-oriented games to coexist with the current F1 series

I guess they've seen the issues with esport compared to others out there.

I have a solution that works though. Go back the how it was before, no more exclusive license stuff. If 2 companies wants to compete in F1 Sim genre, 3 in the simcade/arcade and 2 in management. As long as they can pay for the license. Let them do it. Have some proper competition!

I feel you. I've considered, numerous times to make an effort to get an old windows on an older laptop, but it's so easy to run in to driver issues.
Making the effort to get 03/04 state of the art specs is not easy, and yet again you can easily run in to driver issues, just by the fact that they don't exist anymore.

Which tracks? I have heard Hockenheim, and that has been in previous games, so it should not be a problem for them to include it.

A lot depends on your expectations, I took a long time umming and ahhing before getting it and I was amazed at it. I used it in F1 2018. If you expect it to provide a full VR experience, you may be disappointed, but it really does up the immersion.

Thanks for your information. Your last sentence, Some people like to hang onto their Windows 7 systems. Believe it or not, I still have 2 Windows XP systems and a Windows 7. Even though no more updates for them and slower than molasses, I use them with some real old special software, not gaming, and will use them until they become defective. My main gaming computer is a Windows 10 system.

As the other commenter said in his reply, it is not true 360 degree VR viewing. But I enjoy the VORPX 3D viewing which give me a 180 degree front view of the graphics. I use it with my Oculus Rift S. Thing about VORPX is it works with many 2D games. I use it with older Nascar 2003, GPL, newer Nascar Heat 4, F1 2019, BeamNG, WRC7, and Wreckfest to name a few. Some games give better results and there are various settings you can try to make VORPX work the best for each game. Havent even mentioned non racing games. So i feel it is worth the money.for how I use it.
