F1 2015 The Game Released.jpg

Just a little while ago Steam unlocked F1 2015 and the annual Formula 1 game is now released in Europe for Windows PC players.

North American's have to be a little more patient and wait for 11 more days until the game releases on the 21st of July 2015 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam for PC. (Update: Seems that Americans are getting lucky with a Steam release today as well.)

The central game mode this year is the all-new Championship Season, which according to the developers promises to deliver the most immersive F1 experience yet, thanks to an all-new ‘broadcast presentation’ style that recreates the unique race day atmosphere of a Grand Prix.

The upcoming weekend will be used by thousands of race fans to enjoy the first moments in the game and below you find some handy links and tips to enhance your experience!

Well, the game looks nice but it crashed very often for me. Every benchmark run results in a crash to desktop immediately after crossing the finish line.
Someone else with this problem?

Also, someone already has good FFB settings for CSW v2 ?

Yes crashed on benchmark to me too twice lol , but running 5760x1080 so thought it might be that has the game is unplayable at the minute .

Benchmark crashed.

Graphics are like vaseline smeared on the screen. Very disappointed so far with the looks. It looks better in the opening movie credits.

Issues with wheel detection.

Happy days.

First, the bugs.
Running the benchmark test crashes my game back to desktop.
After i quit i get a F1 2015.exe crash, F1 2015 has stopped working (no kidding... i told it too).
When you pause the game in time trial the wheel stops working after you un-pause it for 5 seconds (like they are having the countdown before handing over the controls to you again).

I've never seen such infestation in the first couple of hours of gameplay.

Second the graphics, i don't like them, very blurry, dull colors... and weirdly enough i don't see a gamma setting in game so i can change that, game looks washed out imo.

On to physics and FFB, big improvement, like really big improvement, the cars move around more both on entry and on exit and they do so naturally unlike 2014 where you had to guess rather than feel the behaviour of the car.
I still haven't started fiddling with the setup, but it looks like it could be a lot of fun.
Weird that there's no brake options in the setup screen, but the in car change seems a lot more powerfull so i can see the why.

FFB is much improved as well, though my G27 had a huuuge deadzone on default settings which i think should be addressed so G27 owners don't have to run FFB at 110%.
Also the wheel was originally recognized as G29 (????) but it's just one click to change it.

AI seems racier, can't say much at this point.

I had it show my fanatec clubsport v1 , but ingame it would not turn or move anything , no gears nothing at all , but under the clubsport v1 , you can not alter anything at all , so had to make custom settings , which was a nightmare then my pedals stopped working well just the break pedal , gone in assetto corsa and now no break at all with nothing , tried intsalling the drivers again and it crashes the software , so stuffed my setup at this point :roflmao:
